Jambi – Mantan Lurah se-Kota Jambi yang tergabung dalam Forum Purna Bhakti Lurah Kota Jambi (FKPBLJ) secara tegas menyatakan dukungan mereka kepada pasangan calon Gubernur Jambi dan Wakil Gubernur Jambi nomor urut 2, Al Haris dan Abdullah Sani (Haris-Sani) dalam Pemilihan Gubernur Jambi 2024.
Ketua FKPBLJ, Zainuddin, mengungkapkan bahwa seluruh anggota forum telah sepakat untuk memberikan dukungan penuh kepada pasangan Haris-Sani. Menurutnya, keputusan ini diambil setelah melalui beberapa kali rapat pengurus, dan forum tidak mendukung calon lain.
"Kami, seluruh anggota FKPBLJ, telah sepakat untuk mendukung calon Gubernur Jambi Haris-Sani. Itu sudah merupakan keputusan bersama," ujar Zainuddin kepada wartawan, Senin (30/9/2024).
Lebih lanjut, Zainuddin menegaskan bahwa FKPBLJ, sebagai organisasi yang memiliki Surat Keputusan (SK) dan akta notaris yang sah, secara resmi menyatakan dukungannya kepada Haris-Sani. Dia juga menekankan bahwa secara organisasi, FKPBLJ tidak pernah mendukung calon gubernur lain.
"Kami tidak pernah menyatakan sikap untuk mendukung calon lain. Kalau ada anggota yang mendukung secara pribadi, itu hak mereka. Namun, secara resmi, FKPBLJ mendukung penuh Haris-Sani," tambahnya.
Dukungan dari FKPBLJ ini dianggap sebagai dorongan kuat bagi Haris-Sani dalam upaya memenangkan Pilgub Jambi 2024. Forum Purna Bhakti Lurah Kota Jambi yang berisi para mantan lurah memiliki pengaruh besar di masyarakat, khususnya di tingkat akar rumput.
Dukungan ini diharapkan dapat semakin memperkuat posisi Haris-Sani dalam kontestasi politik yang kian memanas jelang Pilgub Jambi mendatang.(*)
